The next major event after the Court of Honor is one of our most popular campouts: mountain biking and camping at Brian Head. If you want to go, you need to sign up as soon as possible (permission slips are due in by August 16th) so that the event leaders can get an accurate head count and get you information you need in order to be prepared. Here are the details as they stand now.

We will meet at the Painter's Union Hall at 5:00 PM on Friday, September 7 and leave 30 minutes later. We will return at approximately 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 9. We need drivers and vehicles to help with the transportation (there will not be a bus this time), so please contact Mr. Godbey if you can help.

The cost, which includes transportation, food and the biking equipment is $80.00 per Scout.

Camping and cooking will be done by patrol method.

Each person who is planning on riding will need to bring a day pack, rain gear and water bottles for the biking portion of the trip.
