[Scoutmaster's note: Many of you may not know that Jeremy was invited to attend a one week session of the BSA National Advanced Youth Leadership Experience (NAYLE) at Philmont Traing Center in New Mexico. The following is an early message about his experience.]

NAYLE ended Saturday!

Troop 256 is known nationwide, as I have found out, for being "That one troop from Vegas that went to Alaska". Troop 256 and Las Vegas were well represented and many troop leaders wanted to know how our council worked, and they took a lot of ideas on how our troop is run (I.E. COH's, Merit Badges, outings, etc.).

In comparison with other troops, our troop is extremely well run. Congrats to the SPL & ASPL's.

I will be posting an essay on the troop website in the next few weeks. Promote the site!

NYLT and NAYLE are really great and our troop really aught to promote them more.
