During the time of Scout Expo at Lorenzi park, there will be a United Blood Services blood drive. To sign up, either go on-line to www.bloodhero.com (sponsor code: boyscouts) or call 228-8400 ext. 241.

Each Scout who brings in a donor will receive a "Scouts Saves Lives" patch.

All donors will receive a voucher for a free pint of Caravel ice cream.

Free cholesterol testing when you donate blood.

Blood donor qualifications:

• 17 years old or older.
• Weigh at least 110 pounds.
• Have not donated in the past 8 weeks.
• Are in good health.

Donors must show an ID containing their name and one of the following:

• Date of birth
• Social security number
• United Blood Services assigned donor number
• Photo of donor
